SnOw!!!!

Why am I excited for all this snow? I take the dog out and I sink up to my thighs, and lose the dog. Winter is most certainly not my favorite season, but there is something beautiful in a field of snow, or pine trees lightly dusted in white. I love making cookies and brownies, and making the house smell so tasty and Christmasy. This time of year every morning when I come downstairs I go throughout the whole house and plug in every set of twinkle lights that we have out. :) I love the cozy glow they give off, and it makes everything so warm and festive. I also 'cook' frequently...myself. I stand in front of the coal stove, and soak up the heat until I get so toasty that my pants are either going to combust, or I am going to melt, then I run and sit on the couch and practically burn my seat as I soak up that last bit of warmth. It's one of the best feelings in the world. :)
Today I'm hoping the wind will stop so Ben, Josiah, Ethan and I can all go play outside! I might lose one or two of them in the snow...but there's a whole field of snow just waiting to be played in! We can't let it go to waste!! I will most deffinately take pictures when we got out and I will post them some fine happy day... ;)

Have a happy (and warm) day in Jesus!!

Terrible Two's

The little man I watch, Ethan, is two, but no where near terrible. He has, however, learned the word 'NO!' and uses it most frequently. He runs through the living room, yelling at no-one in particular. 'NO! NO! NO!' I suppose if he were mine this would not be nearly as cute as I think it is, but that's ok, they dont stay little forever.

Baking

So today I caught a wiff of some early Christmas Spirit. :)  I took advantage of that and proceeded to make Chocolate-Dipped Cranberry Cookies, and Caramel Popcorn Bars. Delicious. :)  I absolutely love the holidays, I wish they lasted all year long. :)
